As 2018 comes to an end, I remain amazed at how fast the year has flown by! I think it’s true, the older I get, the faster it goes! We’ve had such a blessed year for which we are so grateful. We’ve taken on a new SEO/marketing company, we’ve developed and added the temporary section of our national job board, and developed relationships with AADOM, ADHA, and ADAA. How fun is that?!
Looking to 2019…
…it is our goal to continue to support these fine professional associations and the outstanding men and women who’ve developed and organized them. The AADOM meeting is set for July, the ADHA meeting is happening in June and we’ve donated to support Dental Assisting students for 2019.
…I’ve recently secured a position as a substitute instructor for the dental assisting program at Rogue Community College. This is one venue I have not experienced and I’m very excited to for this opportunity.
…we are developing two continuing education courses: 1) Risk Management and Documentation and 2) Presenting Complete Treatment.
Our Risk Management and Documentation course covers necessary information to help keep a malpractice attorney and the Board at arm’s length. It’s also designed to help the admin team get the necessary information to file claims quickly, get payed faster and reduce insurance hassles.
The of Complete Treatment Presentation is designed to increase productivity and provide the practice with a better bottom line. It involves the entire Team and creates incentive for regular bonuses.
Once the courses are finalized, our next goal is accreditation.
We’re very excited about all the fun projects were working on next year. We’re going to be very busy; perhaps that’s why the year seems to fly by!
As 2018 says good-bye, we wish all of you a blessed and joyous Holiday Season. May you look back on 2018 and recognize all you’ve accomplished and all you’ve learned. Looking forward to 2019 and what we all can do to make a positive change; what we can do to make a difference, if even a small one.
